Raid Shield and honeypot
Stopping raids and scam bots.
Raid Shield
Jewel scores every join and message for raid signals: bursts of joins, accounts made at the same moment, copy-pasted spam, names that copy your staff, scam links and the same message posted across channels. The score moves the server through four levels:
| Level | What happens |
|---|---|
| 0 Calm | Nothing unusual. Jewel keeps watching |
| 1 Watch | The staff panel changes colour and new members get a closer look |
| 2 Alert | Chat slows down, new joiners are held for staff and scam or copy-paste messages are removed |
| 3 Lockdown | Jewel recommends it. Public channels lock only when a staff member presses the button |
Everything lifts by itself after about ten calm minutes. Jewel never bans or kicks anyone because of the raid score, and staff are never touched. The live panel appears in the alert channel you pick (or the log channel).
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/shield status | The current level and what raised it |
/shield drill 2 | Rehearse a level without affecting any member |
/shield panic, calm, release | Step in by hand |
/shield on|off | Switch the shield on or off |
Honeypot
A honeypot is a channel nobody real should write in. Scam bots and hacked accounts write in every channel they can see, so whoever posts there is dealt with at once.
- Create a channel and let everyone see it.
- Open the Honeypot tab, pick that channel, choose what happens (ban, kick, time out or only delete), and switch it on.
- Save, then press Post warning in the channel. A red embed tells people not to write there.
Staff are never touched, and every catch is logged in your log channel.
Do not put the honeypot in a channel newcomers use by accident, and think about the action: a ban cannot be undone by Jewel. Time out is a gentler choice while you test.
